Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Spice up your dinner routine with this Cajun shrimp pasta. Fettuccine is coated in a bold, savory sauce built from Cajun blackened seasoning, sautéed vegetables, and broth, then finished with tender shrimp for a balanced, flavorful dish.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine, cooked to al dente
  • 12 oz medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 tbsp Dap's Cajun blackened seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 3 medium roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 1/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Pat shrimp dry and remove tails if needed.
  3. Place shrimp in a large bag with 5 tablespoons Cajun seasoning and shake until evenly coated.
  4. Melt butter in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes per side until lightly crisped. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  6. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano, paprika, and remaining 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning. Stir to combine.
  7. Add Worcestershire sauce and chicken broth. Simmer for 7–10 minutes.
  8. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until well coated.
  9. Top with shrimp, garnish with parsley, and serve.
