Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Pep's Chicken Rub
- 2 slices bread (sourdough, whole grain, or a soft roll)
- 1 large egg
- 2 slices bacon
- 1 slice cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or preferred)
- 1 tbsp butter or oil
Directions
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and reserve a small amount of bacon fat in the pan.
- Season the egg lightly with Pep's Chicken Rub. Cook in the same skillet with a bit of butter or oil until desired doneness.
- Toast the bread until golden.
- Layer bacon and egg on one slice of bread. Sprinkle a small amount of seasoning over the egg if desired.
