Ingredients
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1-2 tsp of Shawhan Farms Seasoning (Poultry, Steak, or Chorizo)*
- 1 large egg
- 1 medium yellow or white onion, diced
- 2 tbsp gluten-free flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- Oil for frying (sunflower or safflower oil recommended)
- Cheesecloth for wringing out potatoes

Directions
- Prepare Potatoes: Wash, peel, and grate the potatoes. Place the grated potatoes in a cheesecloth and wring them out to remove excess moisture.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the grated potato, diced onion, egg, gluten-free flour, Shawhan Farms Seasoning, baking powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Heat Oil: In a dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pan, pour in enough oil to reach about half an inch high. Heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches frying temperature.
