📝 Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie works great)
- 1 ½ tablespoons Shawhan Farms Sweet & Smoky Seasoning
- ½ cup cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
- ½ cup shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for younger kids)
- 3–4 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, stir together cream cheese, yogurt, and Sweet & Smoky seasoning until smooth.
- Fold in shredded chicken and cheese. Add honey if using.
- Spread the mixture evenly onto each tortilla, staying ½ inch from the edges.
- Roll tightly, wrap in plastic, and chill for 30 minutes.
- Slice into 1-inch pinwheels and serve chilled—or let come to room temp.
Kitchen Shortcuts & Kid Hacks
- Short on time? Swap cream cheese mix for ranch dressing or hummus.
- No chicken prepped? Use sliced deli turkey or canned chicken in a pinch.
- Packing lunch? Wrap uncut rolls and slice fresh in the morning to avoid sogginess.
- Making it fun? Let kids “paint” their tortilla with a layer of spread using a spoon or butter knife.
Make It Your Own
- Add shredded carrots or baby spinach
- Use a whole-wheat wrap for extra fiber
- Try a dairy-free version with vegan cream cheese and cheese alternatives
