Pork and Cabbage Noodle Toss

Pork and Cabbage Noodle Toss

Skillet Simple Pork with Noodles

Pork, cabbage, and noodles cook at the same pace, which makes them an easy match on busy nights. Once everything softens in the skillet, a spoonful of our Shawhan Farms Gourmet Parmesan Inspirations Lemon Pepper Seasoning adds enough brightness and warmth to bring the dish together without extra steps or ingredients. It keeps the flavors clear and balanced, even with a short ingredient list.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 8 ounces dried noodles (spaghetti, linguine, or rice noodles)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Up to 2 tablespoons Lemon Pepper Parm seasoning, plus more to finish
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Optional: chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: Cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the pork: Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground pork and cook until lightly browned, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks.
  3. Soften the vegetables: Add the cabbage, onion, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables soften and start to pick up color, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Season the skillet: Sprinkle in the Lemon Pepper Parm seasoning, starting with 1 tablespoon and adding up to another tablespoon to taste. Let it bloom in the heat for about a minute so the flavor opens up.
  5. Toss with noodles: Add the cooked noodles and the lemon juice. Toss until everything comes together and the noodles absorb the seasoning from the skillet.
  6. Finish and serve: Taste and adjust as needed. Finish with another pinch of the seasoning for a bright, slightly cheesy top note. Garnish with chopped parsley if you like.

How the flavor comes together

The lemon lifts the richness of the pork, the pepper adds warmth, and the parmesan melts just enough to give the noodles a fuller, rounder taste. The blend stands in for several separate ingredients, which keeps the skillet simple and helps a few basics feel more complete.
