This slow cooker taco dip combines seasoned ground turkey, melted cheese, and tomatoes into a smooth, flavorful appetizer. Everything comes together in one pot, making it easy to prepare and keep warm for serving.

It’s a reliable option for gatherings, game days, or casual meals where you want something simple that still delivers on flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp Shawhan Farms Taco Seasoning
  • Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 small yellow onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp serrano pepper, finely minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 16 oz processed cheese, cubed
  • 14.5 oz can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
  • Cooking spray

For Serving

  • Tortilla chips
  • Mini bell peppers, halved and seeded

Directions

  1. In a skillet, cook ground turkey with 1 tablespoon taco seasoning, salt, pepper, onion, and serrano pepper until browned.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Drain excess grease.
  3. Transfer mixture to a slow cooker. Add cubed cheese and tomatoes.
  4. Cook on low for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until melted and combined.
  5. Serve warm with chips or vegetables. Keep on warm setting as needed.
